Project Print / Help with your order
Get your artwork ready.
A great design needs the right finish. Here is what to consider for each product, and what we check before production.
Start with a clear original.
Send your original artwork where possible. Screenshots, images copied from social media and small web graphics can lose detail when enlarged. For printed images, use a high resolution file at the intended output size. For logos, vector PDF, AI or EPS files keep edges sharp when resized.
Keep an editable master for yourself. Where possible, convert text to outlines in the production copy and include linked artwork. Tell us if a particular colour match matters; colours on a phone or monitor are a guide, not a physical colour proof.
Match the design to the finish.
Soft PVC and sculpted keyrings
Bold shapes, clear lettering and separated areas of solid colour work well for moulded PVC. Photographs, tiny lettering, fine gradients and very thin details may need simplifying. Our 3D domed PVC option uses sculpted PVC to create depth, rather than a clear resin coating. We check the design against the requested size before confirming what can be produced. Explore keyrings.
Embroidery
Thread has a physical thickness. Small text and intricate lines can lose definition, while gradients need translating into suitable thread colours. The usable area depends on the garment and embroidery position. We review the logo and prepare it for stitching before production. Choose beanies, caps or embroidered keyrings.
Knitted socks
Your design is knitted into the sock using yarn. Clear shapes and larger lettering usually translate better than photographic detail. Curves and diagonal lines follow the knit structure, and the design can look different when stretched on the foot. Check the product's size options and discuss fine details before ordering. See custom socks.
Stickers
Use a clear file with the intended cut shape and keep important text away from the edge. Thin protruding shapes can be less durable. Holographic material changes the appearance of colours and unprinted areas, so tell us where you want the material effect to show. We will confirm the cut and layout in the proof. Choose stickers.
Lanyards, flight tags and snoods
Think about how the artwork reads along the length of a lanyard, on both sides of a tag, or around a snood. Keep key text and logos clear of seams, folds and attachment areas. Exact printable areas and any bleed requirements are confirmed for the chosen product. View lanyards, flight tags or snoods.
Screen printed mugs and clothing
Separate solid colours and bold details suit screen printing. Print positions, colour count and the product surface affect what is possible. For photographic garment artwork, DTG or DTF may be more suitable. Check the mug options or ask us about screen printing.
Sizes and templates.
Design guidance and the template area are on each product page. Download files will appear there when approved templates are available. If your product does not have a download yet, ask us for its current artwork requirements before creating a final production file.
Do not guess a bleed allowance, minimum line thickness or printable area from a photo. These depend on the product, size and production method, and we will confirm them for your order.
Check your proof.
Review the wording, quantity, dimensions, colours, print position and any chosen extras. Product photos show examples of completed work; your proof confirms the design for your order. Production starts after artwork approval.
