Custom metal keyrings made from your logo
A recognisable outline can make a small piece of merchandise work harder. Custom metal keyrings let you use the shape of your logo, a club badge or an original illustration, with enamel colour details that give the design definition. They can become a product for your shop, a membership keepsake or a branded gift that customers use on their keys and bags.
The price shown covers a design up to 60 × 60 mm. You do not have to fill that space: a compact wordmark or a smaller emblem may suit the artwork better. Start by choosing the finished size you want, then check that the lettering and main features remain clear at that scale. We review your design before it goes into production.
Choosing a shiny, antique or matt metal finish
The finish changes how the exposed metal looks around your enamel colours. Shiny finishes reflect light and can give a logo a brighter outline. Antique finishes introduce a darker, aged appearance, while matt options have a softer sheen. Think about the artwork and the finish together: warm copper and brass tones can complement an earthy palette, while silver or nickel can suit cooler colours.
There are 16 named options in the selector, including Black Nickel. Your chosen finish is recorded with the order. The swatches are visual guides rather than colour guarantees; a reflective metal surface looks different as the light changes. Finish names describe appearance, not solid gold, silver or other precious metals. Get in touch before ordering if matching a particular finish is essential.
Enamel artwork that works at keyring size
Clear outlines and distinct areas of colour are a useful starting point for enamel keyrings. A logo that looks sharp on a large screen can lose detail when reduced, so view the artwork at the size you intend to order. Check small lettering, narrow gaps and fine lines, and keep the main identifying parts of the design easy to read.
Upload AI, EPS, SVG or PDF artwork where possible. For image files, send the clearest original PNG or JPG available rather than a screenshot or a compressed social media image. Include your preferred dimensions within the 60 mm width and height limit, plus any colour references. Photographs and gradients may need interpretation or simplification for enamel. We can review those details before you decide how to proceed.
Branded keyrings for shops, clubs and business gifts
For a retail range, use a design your audience already recognises: an illustration, a mascot or a brand mark that works without a large amount of text. For clubs and organisations, a crest or badge can give members a useful keepsake. Event merchandise can carry the identity of a gathering without needing to fit the whole event programme onto the product.
Business gifts work best when the branding is considered at the finished size. A clear company logo and a suitable metal finish may be more effective than adding several small lines of contact information. If you are building a wider merchandise range, compare the artwork on stickers, lanyards or other products too, so the pieces feel part of the same set.
Metal, soft PVC or embroidered keyrings?
Choose metal when the visible metal finish is part of the design you want. Enamel colour details give you defined colour areas within that outline. Soft PVC offers a different, flexible feel, while embroidered keyrings bring the texture of thread to the artwork. The best option depends on the design and the kind of merchandise your customers or members will want to carry.
Use the keyrings collection to compare the available styles. A detailed illustration, a simple wordmark and a club crest do not always need the same production approach. If you are undecided, send the artwork and tell us what the keyring is for. We can help you compare the options before you place an order.
Ordering quantities, pricing and production
Order 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,000 custom metal keyrings. Larger quantities have lower unit prices, and the ordering panel updates the total when you choose a quantity. Prices cover a bespoke shape within 60 × 60 mm. The panel shows the price including VAT, with the excluding VAT amount alongside it for business buyers. Review the order total before adding the keyrings to your basket.
Choose the metal finish, upload the artwork and include the finished size you have in mind. Allow 15–20 working days for production, and speak to us before ordering if you are working towards a fixed event or launch date. Larger dimensions or requirements outside the listed options need a separate discussion so we can confirm the specification and price.
Custom keyrings in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and across the UK
Project Print is a Nottingham based merchandise studio working with local businesses, independent brands and clubs across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Ordering online means you can choose your quantity, compare metal finishes and send artwork without needing to visit the studio. We also supply customers across the UK.
Whether you are preparing a shop launch, ordering club merchandise or arranging branded gifts for an event, send us the design and the date you are working towards. Use the options above to start a standard order, or contact the team if you need help with the artwork, a size larger than 60 × 60 mm or a specification that is not covered on this page.
Reviewing the outline as well as the artwork
The outer shape is part of the design. Start with a silhouette that supports your logo, then consider how small protrusions, narrow gaps and closely packed letters will read at the chosen size. The price covers a keyring up to 60 mm wide and 60 mm high; a design does not have to fill that maximum in both directions. Tell us the intended finished dimensions with the artwork.
Check the relationship between the enamel areas, exposed metal and attachment position. A finish selector changes the appearance of the metal, while the artwork defines the coloured details. These are separate decisions to review in the proof. If your design depends on a particular construction feature that is not specified here, have it confirmed before ordering instead of inferring it from an illustrative image.
Using the finish examples to make a decision
Compare a shiny finish with an antique or matt option in the context of your artwork. Strong reflections can make exposed metal a prominent part of the design, while a different finish can give the same outline a quieter appearance. The swatches are a screen guide, and the enlarged finish view helps compare the available names. Your selected finish is recorded with the order.
The metal gallery includes illustrative Project Print concepts and fictional example brands, rather than a claim that every pictured design is a completed customer job. Use those images to explore shapes, colour balance and finish combinations. Your own artwork, chosen dimensions and confirmed production details determine the keyring you order. Review those points together before approving the design for manufacture.
